| Payment | You have 2 options for sending payment on our site. The default is HSBC Secure ePayments service which accepts all major debit and credit cards The payment is handled by HSBC Bank Plc, part of one of the world’s largest financial service organisations. This is a secure online service for card payment authorisation and settlement, with up-to-the-minute security features from Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode for internet transactions.
We also accept Paypal's secure payment gateway (www.paypal.com) for ease of use if you already use Paypal. If you don't already use paypal you will need to sign up to an account (a simple process and many people have an existing account wth paypal for Ebay) and then you can send us payment with your credit/debit card as normal.
We cannot accept direct Card Payments currently as we prefer to let the payment gateways handle this to keep it more secure and also cost effective for us so we can keep prices low.
Last of all we can accept bank transfer or cheque. You will need to email us for details and we will have to wait for bank transfers to be confirmed and cheque's to clear before dispatch of goods. |

| Shipping | UK SHIPPING
For shipping within the UK we use Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day because of their insured, traceable service. All deliveries must be made to a physical address (no P.O. Boxes, please). As a rule, successful purchases will be processed within 48 hours but we try to process orders the following business day where possible. Orders placed before 10AM can 99% of the time be dispatched the same day, after this we cannot guarantee that they will be dispatched on the same day.
We offer guaranteed next day delivery before 1pm (excluding weekends & Bank Holidays) and we ask for a signature to confirm receipt and you can even check online confirmation of delivery. Most importantly, you also get up to £500 maximum compensation for the shipment of your goods if lost through Royal Mail Special Delivery.
The current cost we charge for shipping by Special Delivery is £4.95 - and only an extra £1 for additional items. Orders over £250 are shipped for free!
OVERSEAS SHIPPING:
For International Orders we use Royal Mail’s Overseas service; this service is traceable, and enables our clients to see that the package has been passed from the UK to their respective country for delivery. Upon request, we supply a traceable number that is used on the Royal Mail website (www.royalmail.com) – this service is NOT a tracking service, it will not give a step-by-step location, however it will give details of when the package was dispatched and if it has been passed to the overseas country for delivery. The service is insured and a signature required upon delivery for proof of receipt.

| FAQ | How are your prices so cheap?!!
The answer really is in the buying technique, and no, we are not going to tell you it is as simple as buying big quantities, if it were this simple everyone would be doing it!
The traditional method of buying sunglasses as a shop owner is by purchasing stocks through an approved distribution outlet, each country has one. Discounted Sunglasses buy our sunglasses from exactly the same source as other shops which mean the goods are original, genuine and brand new… NO fakes here thank you. But how are they cheaper if we buy from the same source?
Discounted Sunglasses actually pay the same cost as other shops for our stocks, but we make less profit, thus passing the savings straight to you.
And why don’t other shops just make less profit? Because they are not allowed; they are bound by a contract with the brand distributor which prevents them from selling under the retail price - break the contract, no supply. Unfair isn’t it! We have no contract so we can discount below the retail price. You get the worlds hottest brands at amazing prices, and we sell more quantities at a lower profit.
Oh and one last point, we are experts in sourcing goods in the European Union, this keeps us the No.1 above the best of the rest.
Are you Authorized Dealers?
Discounted Sunglasses are not an authorized dealers for Luxottica, Safilo,
De-Rigo Marchon or Marcolin, authorized dealers are often not permitted to
sell online at discounted prices so we remain independent to bring you great
prices and tremendous savings against High Street price.
How can I get a pair of Branded Sunglasses that aren't listed on your site?
Please email us at help@discountedsunglasses.co.uk (or click Contact Us link at the top of this page) and we will let you know if we have your particular request on an order that will be arriving soon. We can also possibly add it to a future order if you can afford to wait a few weeks for arrival.
Can you provide prescription lenses for the frames sold on your website?
We do not offer the option of prescription lenses. We are aware that specific models will house prescription lenses but you will have to approach an ophthalmic specialist or a high street dealer that can fit prescription lenses for you. We advise you to purchase the sunglasses from Discounted Sunglasses and then seek alternative arrangements to fit prescription lenses.
How can I check that the eyewear purchased from your website will fit the shape and features of my head?
It is common for our clients to try different styles and colours of frame at their nearest retail outlet before completing their purchase on Discounted Sunglasses website. Where possible, clients provide us with the eyewear’s individual code number to ensure an exact match by using the contact us button. We recommend this course of action to anyone that is unsure about the style in which they seek.
Are all the lenses polarized?
No, we clearly state in the individual eyewear descriptions which models are polarized, if it does not state that the eyewear are polarized then they will not, under any circumstances, have polarized lenses.
What UV (Ultraviolet) light does the eyewear protects my eyes from?
All quality lenses filter out 100% of all UVA, UVB, UVC and harmful blue light passing through the lenses on all tints and colours.The degree of glare that the lens filters is generally graded from a 1-3 scale, 3 being the maximum filter for glare.
How does polarization work?
Polarization blocks the bright, blinding glare that bounce off surfaces that are horizontal, such as water and roads. They are excellent for clients active in sports and activities such as skiing, fishing, cycling etc where light is often bounced from water or wet surfaces.

| Return Policy | If you wish to return goods to discounted sunglasses we must be notified by e-mail at info@discountedsunglasses.co.uk within 48 hours of receipt if the product is not suitable or damaged. Simply contact us for a return authorization number and return the merchandise in resalable condition in its original packaging (box or case, cloth bag, warranty card etc) accompanied with receipt. We also recommend you send them recorded delivery as we are not responsible for items lost in the post.
A £1.50 admin fee applies when correctly supplied items are returned and postage costs are not refunded.
